When it comes to good health, I think one of the most challenging things for me, is dealing with stress.

Life never seems to slow down, and there’s always the unexpected. These two things alone are enough to stress a person out!

Without a doubt, there are many causes, and different levels of stress, but ultimately I think the best ways to cope with stress involve a natural approach.

Below are 5 ways that I’ve found helpful in dealing with stress in my own life.

Go on a Walk. Stepping outside, and getting a breathe of fresh air can be very helpful. It gives me time to clear my mind … think about things.

Get a Massage. Get a massage done professionally, have a friend, or your significant other massage you. It can be a great way to relax … both mentally and physically!

Drink a Cup of Tea. Lavender tea is a great choice for stress relief. Lavender is known for it’s relaxing affect on the mind and body.

Read a Book.   A simple distraction, like reading a good book, can be the perfect way to get away from a stressful situation.

Enjoy a Candlelight Bath. Light some candles (unscented, 100% beeswax) and turn off the lights. Add some aromatherapy bath salts or essential oils to your next bath, for a calming mind and body experience. I notice if I do this before bed, I sleep so much better!
