It’s really easy to make. All you need are a few simple ingredients. If you don’t have a blender you can whisk the ingredients together in a bowl.

You’ll notice that turmeric is an optional ingredient in this recipe. I add it in for its anti-inflammatory properties! It doesn’t change the flavor of the dressing, so don’t be afraid to try it.

Recipe: Creamy Homemade Sesame Ginger Salad Dressing

  • Ginger is a well known remedy for indigestion, nausea, and travel sickness.


  • ½ cup raw apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup toasted sesame oil
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons raw tahini
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt or Himalayan salt
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric root powder (optional)


  • Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Store in a glass bottle with an airtight lid.
