Besides the beautiful weather, I really enjoy playing dress up during this time of the year. Summer fashion and makeup are definitely a favorite!

With that said, this Bronze Bombshell Summer Makeup Look is one of my “go to’s”. It’s really simple. You just need to know how to apply basic makeup.

I use several makeup products from Tarte to create this look, but any makeup you choose will work. Although, I do recommend finding a makeup line that doesn’t contain parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, or sodium lauryl sulfate.

The more we can reduce our exposure to toxic chemicals, the healthier and happier we can be!

WARNING This makeup look will turn you into a bronze bombshell!

HOW TO: BRONZE BOMBSHELL SUMMER MAKEUP LOOK

FACE

If necessary, cover up any blemishes or under eye circles with concealer, and apply foundation to create an even skin complexion. Apply bronzer all over face. I love Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer … it’s absolutely gorgeous! Next, contour your face using a matte bronzer or foundation that is two shades darker than your skin complexion.

EYES

Apply a shade of brown eyeshadow that looks light brown on your skin tone, from your lash line to the crease of your eyelid. Apply a darker brown to the crease. Line your upper and lower lash lines with black eyeliner. Apply 2-3 coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes. Fill in your eyebrows with a shade that matches your natural brow color. Apply a beige loose shimmer powder to your brow bone. Next, apply a light dusting of the shimmer powder to the inner corner of your eyelids.

CHEEKS

Apply a shimmery pink, peach or gold blush, or cheek tint to the “apples” of your cheeks. Tarte’s Brightening Luminizer and Cheek Tint in Sunlight or Moonlight, is what I use.

LIPS

Apply a nude lipstick to your lips. I’m loving Tarte’s Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Park Ave Princess. It really compliments this bronze bombshell makeup look! If you like, you can finish with a shimmery gold lip gloss … I like too!

FINISH THE LOOK

Using a Kabuki brush, blend out any harsh makeup lines. Set your makeup with a finishing powder. This also helps to recuse oily/shiny areas on the face. I use Tarte’s Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder.

Have Fun!!
