I think, as women, we tend to be very self critical about the way we look. And, there are many reasons for this, which I’m not going to get into in this post.

And, it seems like no matter who you are, we all have those things we’d like to change about ourselves. But, I think ultimately the best thing that we can do is learn to love and accept the way we were made.

Cellulite though … now, that’s an entirely different story!

Cellulite is a common concern for many women (fit or not). It’s definitely not the most flattering thing, and it can be embarrassing at times (in a bikini, for instance).

It’s not really surprising that the foods you choose to eat and not to eat, have an affect on whether or not you have cellulite.

Below, is a list of 20 cellulite banishing foods, pulled from, Cellulite Factor created by Dr. Charles.

20 Doctor Recommended Foods for Banishing Cellulite - Sophisticated Booty

  • “There are far more myths out there surrounding cellulite than there is for almost any other weight loss topic.” – Dr. Charles

Berries – raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries

Bok Choy

Nuts and Natural Nut Betters

Coconut Oil

Olive Oil

Steel Cut Oatmeal

Sweet Potatoes

Wild Rice

Dr. Charles emphasizes the importance of eating as naturally as possible, and avoiding processed foods, in order to eliminate cellulite. He also discusses food combining and timing, myths and facts about cellulite, and how to identify “anti-cellulite” product scams.

But, anyway, start adding these foods to your meals, and start transitioning over to a whole food diet. I always recommend a mineral rich, plant based, whole food diet. Loaded with healthy fats and low in sugar.

Eliminating cellulite is just one of the benefits of eating this way. You’ll feel better, have more energy, sleep better, think more clearly, and be able to effortlessly lose weight and keep it off!
